(L.A.) Ricci Sandoval Nufio, 34, Died on Railroad Tracks

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 34-year-old Latino male that occurred on railroad tracks in the Florence-Graham area.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Ricci Sandoval Nufio.

Height: 5 feet 7 inches / Weight: 115 pounds

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday morning.

The decedent was a pedestrian hit by a Metro A (Blue) Line train at a rail crossing near the intersection or Nadeau Street and Graham Avenue.

He had an extensive rap sheet with multiple arrests for drug offenses. He was even arrested by Huntington Park Police in May 2023 for trespassing on railroad property. Just on October 2, 2025, LASD’s Rail Transit Patrol issued him a citation.
