(L.A.) Rene Valdez Gonzalez, 22, Died From Fentanyl

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 22-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Rene Valdez Gonzalez.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 10:56 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on February 22, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
