Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 46-year-old Latino male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Reibel Ramirez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combind Effects of Methamphetamine and Fentanyl

RIP REIBEL RAMIREZ (October 28, 1978 – January 8, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 8:20 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on March 19, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
