(L.A.) Reginald Hayes, 64, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 64-year-old Black male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Reginald Hayes.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Multiple Drug Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 16, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, polydrug overdose.
