(L.A.) Regan Cole, 36, Died in an Emergency Room

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 36-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred in an emergency room.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Regan Cole.

Cause of Death: Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday night.

The decedent was seven months pregnant with her third child. She was out riding a bicycle in Playa Del Rey when she was hit from behind by a white Camry being operated by an 87-year-old driver.

Doctors could not save the mother but delivered her baby at 31 weeks. Unfortunately, the baby, named Ophelia Graham, died in the NICU the following day.
