(L.A.) Rebeca Miranda, 62, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 62-year-old Hispanic female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Rebeca Miranda.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Bupropion Toxicity

RIP REBECA MIRANDA (July 13, 1962 – November 4, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 8:54 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on February 22, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
