(L.A.) Raymond Corrado, 32, Died at a Metro Station

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 32-year-old Latino male that occurred by a Metro train platform.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Raymond Corrado.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 9:30 p.m.
The decedent apparently fell onto the tracks at the Westlake/MacArthur Park station, after which he was fatally hit by a train.

A man was found dead on the tracks of the Westlake/MacArthur Park Metro subway station Friday night.
The incident was reported at 9:20 p.m. in the 600 block of South Alvarado Street – the location of the Metro Station – where arriving Los Angeles Fire Department personnel located a man who was fatally struck by a train.
L.A. County’s Department of Medical Examiner responded to the scene to assist with recovery of the body.

Firefighters responded to the Metro B (Red) Line station to find one person had been fatally struck by a train. Firefighters will assist LAPD and Medical Examiner with the body recovery.
