(L.A.) Raquan McClerkin, 29, Died at a Private Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 29-year-old Black male that occurred at a private residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Raquan McClerkin.

STATUS: The decedent’s body is ready to be released. Ruling by the deputy medical examiner is deferred pending additional investigation.

Manner and cause of death will be added to this page when it becomes available.

If the DME has ordered toxicological screening, the next public update may take three to five months.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.

The decedent may have originally been from the state of Michigan.

The government investigator had initially given the decedent’s name as Rayqon McClekin.
