(L.A.) Raphael Giel, 33, Died From Overdosing on Multiple Drugs

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 33-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Raphael Giel.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Intoxication by the Combined Effects of Fentanyl, Heroin, Codeine, Cocaine, Methamphetamine, and Amphetamine

RIP RAPHAEL GIEL (June 4, 1991 – September 29, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 1:29 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling in early January, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
