(L.A.) Randy Villanueva, 62, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 62-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Randy Villanueva.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

Other Significant Conditions: History of Atrial Fibrillation and Chronic Alcohol Use

RIP RANDY VILLANUEVA (March 11, 1963 – March 14, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 9:35 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 27, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
