(L.A.) Rahim McDermott, 28, Died in a Tent

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 28-year-old Black male that occurred in a tent.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Rahim McDermott.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl, Clonazepam, and Methamphetamine

This appears to be Lafayette Park, which is a small park a few blocks west of the larger MacArthur Park in Westlake, a neighborhood just west of downtown L.A.
