(L.A.) Rafael Leyva Zamudio, 48, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 48-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Rafael Leyva Zamudio.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Alcohol Toxicity

Other Significant Conditions: Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus

RIP RAFAEL LEYVA ZAMUDIO (June 18, 1976 – January 4, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 6:05 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on March 12.

This was a case of acute alcohol poisoning. The decedent drank too much over a short period of time.

Alcohol deaths can be classified as accidents under the assumption that the sots didn’t intend to kill themselves.
