(L.A.) Peggy Frank, 63, Died on a Street

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 63-year-old Caucasian female that occurred on a street.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Peggy Frank.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Hyperthermia

Other Significant Conditions: Obesity, Idiopathic Cardiomyopathy

RIP PEGGY FRANK (May 4, 1955 – July 6, 2018)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 3:35 p.m.

The decedent was a postal worker who died from overheating inside her mail truck in the Woodland Hills area, where temperatures reached 117 degrees. She had been with the U.S. Postal Service for 30 years and was just a few years away from retirement.
