(L.A.) Paul Chun, 42, Died From Abusing Drugs

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 42-year-old Asian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Paul Chun.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Toxic Effects of Methamphetamine and Amphetamine

Other Significant Condition: Hypertensive and Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 9:07 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in March, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
