(L.A.) Patrick Kahler, 39, Died a Fentanyl OD

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 39-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Patrick Kahler.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl Toxicity

RIP PATRICK KAHLER (April 19, 1985 – October 1, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 5:40 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on February 13, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
