(L.A.) Patricia Villa, 44, Died at a Self-Storage Facility

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 44-year-old Hispanic female that occurred at a self-storage facility in Covina.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Patricia Villa of Alhambra.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Gunshot Wounds

Formal pronouncement of death was made early Monday morning, though video shows the decedent was fatally shot at around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 2.

She was an employee who was gunned down by a man after she apparently did not believe his repeated claims that his valuables were being stolen from the storage unit he was renting.

Juan Nava, 66, was arrested on Monday for the crime of murder.
