(L.A.) Oswaldo Balderas, 20, Died From a Head Shot

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 20-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Oswaldo Balderas.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound Through the Head

RIP OSWALDO BALDERAS (October 18, 2003 – August 2, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 3:56 p.m.

It was on Thursday, August 1, that Oswaldo “Gambino” Balderas was shot inside the AutoZone Auto Parts on Maclay Avenue in the City of San Fernando. In critical condition, he was taken to an area hospital. The next day, on Friday, he passed after his family decided to remove him from life support.

This murder is under the jurisdiction of LA County Sheriff’s Department.
