(L.A.) Osmin Herrera Lemus, 28, Died at a Restaurant

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 28-year-old Latino male that occurred at a restaurant.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Osmin Herrera Lemus.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of the Chest

RIP OSMIN HERRERA LEMUS (November 30, 1995 – November 2, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 8:13 p.m.

The shooting happened at the “SalviMex” Restaurant & Bar on Vermont Avenue near the border between Los Angeles and Gardena. LAPD says the restaurant was housing an illegal casino.
