(L.A.) Oscar Zepeda, 69, Died From Alcoholism

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 69-year-old Latino male that occurred in a vehicle.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Oscar Zepeda.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Sequelae of Acute / Chronic Ethanol Use
Other Significant Condition: Laennec’s Cirrhosis of Liver

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 6:43 a.m.
The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on September 9. This appears to be a case of acute alcohol poisoning.
Alcohol deaths can be classified as accidents under the assumption that the sots didn’t intend to kill themselves.
Laënnec cirrhosis is primarily caused by excessive and chronic alcohol consumption.
