(L.A.) Omar Rico Jr, 25, Died From a Gunshot

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 25-year-old Latin American male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Omar Rico Jr.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Torso

RIP OMAR RICO JR (September 25, 1997 – January 6, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 11:31 p.m.

The decedent was apparently known as “Fatal” of the Krazy Ass Mexicans gang of Boyle Heights. He was shot while filming an unauthorized music video under the Sixth Street Bridge.
