(L.A.) Ollie Johnson, 66, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 66-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence in the 700 block of East End Avenue.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Ollie Johnson.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Injuries

Other Significant Conditions: Cardiomegaly, Bronchopneumonia

RIP OLLIE THEODORE JOHNSON SR. (December 13, 1958 – August 22, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday.

The decedent was apparently killed by his caretaker, who initially said his ward had fallen and injured himself in a bathtub.

Pomona detectives would soon charge 42-year-old Paul Jonathan Donell with murder.
