(L.A.) Norawanna Smith, 50, Died at a Freeway On-Ramp

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 50-year-old Black female that occurred at a freeway on-ramp.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Norawanna Smith.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

Other Significant Condition: History of Asthma

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 7:17 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on June 12, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drug.
