Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 26-year-old Asian male.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Nishal Pratap of Hawthorne, California.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl, Fluorofentanyl, Ethanol Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 4:53 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 19, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs. This is considered an accidental overdose.

The decedent was of South Asian descent.
