Video: Dangerous Stampede at Nipsey Hussle Memorial in Los Angeles

A dangerous stampede broke out at the Nipsey Hussle memorial Monday night.

The vigil turned chaotic at around 8:10 p.m. near the intersection of Crenshaw Boulevard and Slauson Avenue when a man reportedly brandished a handgun and spooked the crowd into running.

Despite initial reports that there were stabbings and at least two shootings, police have made no confirmation. There is video however of at least one person bleeding from the head while conscious.

As people were fleeing, several of them fell and hurt themselves. Lots of shoes were left behind in the commotion.

Almost at the same time, the Los Angeles Police Department named an Eric Holder as a suspect in Nipsey Hussle’s murder.
