(L.A.) Nicholas Quilter, 16, Died on a Street

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 16-year-old Black male that occurred on a street.

The coroner’s office has identified the teenage boy as Nicholas Quilter.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Trauma

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.

The decedent was on a scooter in Westchester when he was hit by a vehicle.

Because the driver stopped and stayed on the scene, the incident is not considered a hit-and-run.
