Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 55-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Ndubuisi Okigbo.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Trauma

RIP NDUBUISI OKIGBO (October 7, 1969 – December 30, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 4:59 p.m.

The name appears to be Nigerian.

Note that the government investigator had initially given the decedent’s name as Valentine Okigbu.
