Natalia Lafourcade with LA Phil

One of the most decorated female artists in the history of the Latin Grammys makes her return to the Hollywood Bowl on September 6 and 7.

Natalia Lafourcade last collaborated with Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic in the summer of 2019. Since then, much has changed for the acclaimed Mexican singer and songwriter known for performing pop rock, jazz, and folk music.

In 2022, she put out her first album of original material in seven years, the stunning De Todas las Flores: a raw, deeply personal album that she’s called a “musical diary.” It represents a new lyrical and musical direction for the songwriter, who has won 17 Latin Grammys, more than any other female performer, and four Grammy Awards.

The evening at the Bowl this year opens with a trio of symphonic selections by contemporary composers: John Adams’ exhilarating Short Ride in a Fast Machine, Arturo Márquez’s lively Danzón No. 9, and Gabriela Ortiz’ Antrópolis, based on Mexico City’s vibrant nightlife.
