(L.A.) Morgan Edwards, 21, Died at an Intersection

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 21-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at an intersection.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Morgan Edwards.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Multiple Blunt Force Traumatic Injuries

RIP MORGAN EDWARDS (October 9, 2001 – September 20, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.

The incident happened in the 3100 block of South Sepulveda Boulevard, near National Boulevard and the San Diego (405) Freeway.

Palms Auto vs Motorcycle – Fatality

Firefighters responded to the scene of an auto vs motorcycle traffic collision, with one car involved with fire. Firefighters quickly extinguished the flames, but sadly, one adult male was killed by the initial collision (not fire). One adult female was transported to the hospital with minor injuries (none fire-related). One or more street lanes will remain closed in the area until the LAPD investigation and Medical Examiner operations are complete (unknown duration). LAPD Incident # 4182
