RIP MONICA ENRIQUEZ (October 3, 1990 – October 2, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 9:19 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the COD ruling on February 1, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drug.

The decedent was the victim of an RV fire near Sun Valley.

Firefighters responded at 9:05 p.m. to 11800 Strathern St., near Lankershim Boulevard, where they found the recreational vehicle engulfed in flames.

Upon extinguishing the fire, LAFD personnel discovered the body inside the vehicle.

Another woman who was inside the RV had been able to escape and was later treated at the scene for burns and smoke inhalation by paramedics.
