(L.A.) Missy Graffell, 49, Died From Olanzapine Intake

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 49-year-old Black female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Missy Graffell.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Olanzapine Intoxication

RIP MISSY GRAFFELL (January 8, 1961 – March 19, 2010)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 8:48 p.m.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

Olanzapine (sold under the trade name Zyprexa among others) is an antipsychotic primarily used to treat schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.
