(L.A.) Miguel Arellano, 41, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 41-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Miguel Arellano.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Alcohol Intoxication

Other Significant Conditions: Chronic Alcohol Liver Cirrhosis; Alcohol-Related Ketoacidosis

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 7:38 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on April 30.

This was a case of acute alcohol poisoning. The decedent consumed a large quantity of alcohol in a brief period, leading to a toxic level of alcohol in the bloodstream.

Alcohol deaths can be classified as accidents under the assumption that the sots didn’t intend to kill themselves.
