Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 53-year-old Latino male that occurred in a tent.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Miguel Acoltzin Nava.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

Other Significant Conditions: Liver Cirrhosis (Etiology Unknown), Congenital Quadricuspid Pulmonic Valve

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 8:09 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 19, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the meth.
