Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 35-year-old Black female that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Michelle Kong.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl, Cocaine, and Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP MICHELLE KONG (November 6, 1989 – March 17, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 10:00 p.m.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
