(L.A.) Michele Reiner, 70, Died in Brentwood

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 70-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Michele Reiner.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Sharp-Force Injuries

RIP MICHELE SINGER-REINER (March 3, 1957 – December 14, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 3:46 p.m.

The decedent was the wife of Hollywood director Rob Reiner. They were both killed by their second eldest son Nick at their home in Brentwood, apparently in the early morning.

The married couple was found in their home by their daughter Romy.

LAFD responded to a medical aid call at the residence at 3:38 p.m.

That same day, LAPD arrested Nick Reiner in the Exposition Park area.
