Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 29-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Michael Prickett.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP MICHAEL PRICKETT (September 16, 1995 – March 6, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 3:00 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-May, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
