Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 61-year-old male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Michael Pappas.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death A: Asphyxia

Cause of Death B: Strangulation and Smothering

RIP MICHAEL PAPPAS (January 30, 1963 – June 2, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 6:55 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on September 26.
