(L.A.) Michael Gonzales, 52, Died on a Street

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 52-year-old Latino male that occurred on a street.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Michael Gonzales.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Cocaine and Methamphetamine

Other Significant Condition: History of Asthma

RIP MICHAEL GONZALES (August 16, 1971 – November 1, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 2:26 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 20, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs. This is considered an accidental / unintentional overdose.

Note that there are multiple decedents named “Michael Gonzales” in public records.
