Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 42-year-old Latino male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Michael Correa.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Gunshot Wounds

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 12:45 a.m.

The decedent was gunned down at a strip mall’s parking lot.

LAPD said he was standing by his vehicle outside a donut shop when he was approached by two suspects, who fired several shots at him before fleeing in a vehicle.

This happened in the 16000 block of Vanowen Street between Woodley and Gloria at a little before 12:35 a.m.
