(L.A.) Melanie Moore, 62, Died at a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 62-year-old Black female that occurred at a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Melanie Moore.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Consequences of the Combined Effects of Cocaine, Methamphetamine, and Fentanyl

Other Significant Condition: Hypertension

RIP MELANIE MOORE (August 2, 1961 – October 3, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 4:03 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 27, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.

This is considered an accidental overdose.
