(L.A.) Maxine McCann, 24, Died in a Median

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 24-year-old Caucasian female who was found lifeless in a median.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Maxine Mccann, registered resident of Vista Del Mar Avenue.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt Trauma

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 11:37 a.m.

It appears she may have been a pedestrian fatality who had died a month before and so the body had already decomposed when found. She had been reported as a missing person in July 2020. It apparently took until December 2021 to identify her.
