(L.A.) Mauricio Martin, 33, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 33-year-old Latino male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Mauricio Martin.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Ethanol Toxicity

RIP MAURICIO MARTIN (December 9, 1991 – May 9, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 4:08 p.m.

This was a case of acute alcohol poisoning. The decedent drank too much over a short period of time.

Alcohol deaths can be classified as accidents under the assumption that the sots didn’t intend to kill themselves.
