(L.A.) Matthew Pelland, 33, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 33-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Matthew Pelland.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: 1,1-Difluoroethane Toxicity

RIP MATTHEW PELLAND (December 23, 1990 – July 8, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 10:38 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 28, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive.

This is considered an accidental overdose.
