(L.A.) Matthew Kurzyniec, 65, Died in a Vehicle

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 65-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a vehicle.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Matthew Kurzyniec of Northridge.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death A: Sudden Cardiac Dysfunction
Cause of Death B: Coronary Artery Disease
Other Significant Condition: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine
RIP MATTHEW KURZYNIEC (January 5, 1958 – July 24, 2023)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 10:50 a.m.
Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 29, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs. This is considered an accidental drug overdose.

Firefighters were sent to the 22400 block of West Santa Susana Pass Road about 10:30 a.m. They found a vehicle over the side of Santa Susana Pass Road, with one occupant, the driver, already deceased. A dog was located in or near the vehicle; it seemed to be in good condition.
