Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 32-year-old Caucasian male that occurred in a parking lot in Azusa.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Mathew Cook. Height: 6 feet 4 inches. Weight: 230 pounds
Manner of Death: Homicide
Cause of Death: Multiple Gunshot Wounds

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 4:23 p.m.
The decedent was killed during a gun battle with police in the 1000 block of West Gladstone Street. He had been detained in connection to a stolen vehicle that was being investigated.
