(L.A.) Martin Cornejo, 52, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 52-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Martin Cornejo.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Atherosclerotic and Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: History of Diabetes Mellitus, Cocaine Use

RIP MARTIN CORNEJO (July 27, 1971 – July 5, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 2:54 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 24, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drug.

This is considered an accidental overdose.
