(L.A.) Markus Michel, 28, Died at an Embankment

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 28-year-old Latino male that occurred at an embankment.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Markus Michel.

Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Levario.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 11:09 p.m.

The decedent was found near a creek bed in Hawaiian Gardens.

Deputies from the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department had been called to a remote area near Coyote Creek, regarding a call about gunshots being heard. Upon arrival, they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds.
