(L.A.) Mark Franklin, 57, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 57-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Mark Franklin.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

Other Significant Condition: Hypothermia

RIP MARK FRANKLIN (August 19, 1966 – February 7, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 9:18 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on May 4, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drug.
