Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 20-year-old Hispanic female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the young woman as Maritza Gonzalez.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Stab Wound of Chest

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.

The decedent was stabbed in West Hollywood’s Rainbow District on Sunday, September 13. Deputies had responded to a fight that had broken out at around 3:00 a.m. in the 8900 block of Santa Monica Boulevard.

She was kept alive at the hospital so that her organs could be harvested by the medical-industrial complex.
