Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 56-year-old Hispanic male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Mario Sanchez Sarabia Jr.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Cocaine Use

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose. The coke caused either a heart attack or cardiac arrest.

A few units at the Alexandria Hotel are reserved for people experiencing homelessness.
