(L.A.) Mario Moreno, 46, Died in a Vehicle

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 46-year-old Latino male that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Mario Moreno.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

Other Significant Condition: Atherosclerotic Cardivascular Disease

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 16, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
